1. What makes sp-oil different?
Each sp-oil formulation is 100% pure, cold-pressed, and crafted from a single, high-quality ingredient — no fillers, no synthetic additives, no fragrance. We believe in returning to nature’s simplicity, offering oils in their most potent, unaltered form. Our purity and transparency set us apart from anything else on the market.

2. Are your oils suitable for all skin types?
Yes. Each sp-oil is designed to balance the skin’s natural oils rather than overwhelm them. Lightweight and non-comedogenic, our oils absorb quickly and are suitable for dry, combination, oily, and sensitive skin types.

3. How should I use sp-oil?
Warm 2–4 drops between your palms and gently press onto clean, damp skin — morning or night.
Allow the oil to absorb fully before applying sunscreen or makeup.

4. Can I layer sp-oil with other skincare products?
Absolutely. Our oils are designed to complement your routine, not replace it.
Apply sp-oil as your final step after water-based serums or before sunscreen during the day. The natural lipids help seal in hydration and enhance the absorption of other active ingredients.

5. Are your products vegan and cruelty-free?
Yes — always. All sp-oil products are 100% vegan, cruelty-free, and never tested on animals. We partner only with ethical suppliers who share our values for purity, sustainability, and integrity.

6. Do your oils contain fragrance or essential oils?
No. sp-oil products are fragrance-free and contain no essential oils, ensuring they remain gentle even for sensitive skin. Any scent you notice is naturally derived from the plant itself.

7. How should I store my sp-oil?
Keep your bottle in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat.
Because our oils are 100% natural and preservative-free, proper storage helps maintain their potency and shelf life.

8. What is the shelf life of your oils?
Each sp-oil has a shelf life of approximately 12–18 months when stored properly.
We recommend using your oil within 6 months of opening for the freshest experience.

9. Do you offer samples?
At this time, we do not offer samples, as each bottle is hand-filled in small batches. However, we’re working toward introducing discovery sizes in the future.

10. Where do you ship from?
All orders are packaged and shipped from our Toronto studio, where each bottle is prepared with care and quality control.

11. Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we currently ship within Canada, the United States, and select international destinations.

12. What if my order arrives damaged?
We’re so sorry if that happens. Please email info@thespoilcollective.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number and photos of the damage. We’ll review your case and arrange a replacement or refund as needed.

13. Can I return or exchange my product?
For hygiene and safety reasons, we do not accept returns or exchanges on opened products.
If your item arrives damaged or defective, we’ll gladly make it right. Please refer to our Returns & Refund Policy for details.

14. Is sp-oil safe during pregnancy or breastfeeding?
All our oils are 100% natural and contain no synthetic chemicals. However, we always recommend consulting your healthcare provider before introducing any new skincare product during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
